BROUGHTONS BROUGHTONS BROUGHTONS
:. The New Continental GT

We have been waiting 50 years for this moment and now the Continental GT is born.
The new Continental GT will catapult us into the 21st Century head and shoulders above our competitors. However, to all you Bentley enthusiasts out there, do not fear, because Bentley have kept all things such as style, class and power so not to lose all things sacred to the Bentley marque.
From the start the driving philosophy behind the Continental GT has been to produce a car with true supercar performance in a package so effective that owners who used it every day would find a car with a complete range of answers to the questions posed by daily life on the road. Unlike typical supercars it would be refined, comfortable and seat four people; unlike other large coupés, it would also be utterly thrilling to drive.
However, if refinement, class, power and uniqueness are what you aspire to then the Continental GT will be worth waiting for.

:. Top speed in excess of 180mph (290km/h) and 0-62mph (100km/h) of under five seconds. Bentley-designed 6-litre, twin-turbocharged, W12 engine developing more than 500bhp. Drive to all four wheels. Paddle operated, six-speed automatic gearbox. Electronic stability programme.

Breitling and Bentley Motors have teamed up to form a unique partnership on three levels. First, Breitling have participated in the styling of instrumentation in the new Continental GT. More specifically, Breitling’s signature will appear on the dashboard clock, a first for Bentley. In addition Breitling will join Team Bentley for Le Mans 2003 and produce a unique chronograph bearing the prestigious Bentley name.
Both brands share a coherent identity which focuses on performance, prestige and tradition coupled with technical innovation. The evolution of what is to be a three tiered partnership begins with a branded clock which will be centrally mounted within the Continental GT’s famed Bentley winged interior design. This perfectly compliments the surrounding chrome instruments and classic bullseye ventilation outlets. It is the first time Bentley have implemented a branded clock within their luxurious hand crafted interior.
The famous 24hr race at Le Mans is of great significance for Bentley with the re-emergence of a race car since the days of the legendary Bentley Boys over 70 years ago. In 2003 Breitling will be the main sponsor for Team Bentley, its name firmly positioned across both front wings and side panels. This is the ultimate platform, highlighting mutual brand values for performance and precision in the most challenging of environments.
Furthermore, to emphasis this dynamic relationship, Breitling will present an exceptional new chronograph at the Geneva motor show in March 2003. This wrist instrument has been designed to perfectly reflect the distinct styling of the Continental GT, including elements which mirror the knurled finishes traditionally found in Bentleys. Driven by an exclusive Breitling self-winding movement, and premiering innovative functions, this watch will certainly stand out in celebration of this auspicious partnership.
