Bentley Financial Services was set up in 1999 to provide Bentley
dealers with an in-house Finance Company to specialise in the
funding of Bentley vehicles sold through Bentley Dealers. A
centre of excellence has now been established in Milton Keynes
with nearly 50% of all Bentleys sold in the UK being financed by
BFS.
This has been a tremendous period of growth and the
infrastructure has now been put in place to provide a full
service both for the current Bentley range and for the launch of
the new Bentley Continental GT later this year.
Since its formation BFS has continually been innovative in its
approach to ensure that Bentley customers are offered finance
related products that suit the specialised nature of this market
place.
A recent innovation is the launch of an ideal solution for all
would-be Continental GT owners and those who aspire to the
Bentley Arnage range.
The campaign, called Solutions, offers Bentley customers the
chance to drive a new Arnage R or T for 24 months, while their
new Continental GT is being built, with a final payment
guaranteed at 50% of the original selling price. Customers can
drive away confident of the monthly repayment costs and of the
optional guaranteed final payment in two years time. Available
from Broughtons up to 31st March, the offer also includes a free
10,000-mile service. The customer chooses the deposit, offering
complete flexibility – anything between 10%-50%.
At the end of the agreement three choices give even more
control. The car can either be part exchanged for a new Bentley,
the vehicle can be returned with nothing to pay or the optional
final payment may be paid enabling the customer to keep his
Arnage.
Keyman Insurance was launched last May offering the Bentley
customer Life protection to the maximum value of £150,000 on
Bentley Financial Services agreements together with disability
benefits to the maximum value of £1,500 per month.
The most conventional choice to fund a Bentley is Lease Purchase
– offering the simplicity of Hire Purchase but with a greater
degree of freedom. The fundamental principle of Lease Purchase
is to defer a major proportion of the vehicle’s repayment cost
to the end of the agreement.
Bentley Financial Services still offer a Hire Purchase facility
– the most understood method of vehicle funding in this country.
After paying a deposit the balance is paid over an agreed
period, normally between 12-48 months. When the payment period
has been completed and all payments made (including the option
to purchase fee of £40) the Bentley becomes the customer’s
property to enjoy driving or part exchange for a new Bentley.
