The Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates Airline, will be run at Nad Al Sheba racecourse in Dubai on Saturday 27 March, 2004 and with a total prize money of US$6,000,000 it is the richest race in the world.

Run over 2,000 metres, the Group One Dubai World Cup is the highlight of a meeting worth US$15,250,000, which is the world’s richest race meeting.
For 2004 the Dubai World Cup marks the culmination of an exciting and spectacular two month long Dubai International Racing Carnival, which with prize-money of US$21,000,000, will become one of the world’s leading social and sporting carnivals.
There are seven races on the programme, six are for Thoroughbreds, four of which are at Group One level, which is the highest standard in international competition and attracts the elite of the world’s equine athletes. The evening kicks off with the Dubai Kahayla Classic for Purebred Arabian horses.
