:. Finance Options for the Bentley Driver |
|
|
|
One could argue that the joy of a Bentley is both in
the driving and in the ownership.
Today, ownership of a car is not considered by some to be as
important as its use over a period
of time. Being able to enjoy the experience of driving a Bentley
without the requirement of
ownership is a financing route that we are pleased to offer the
Bentley driver.

The question
of ownership is a key factor in deciding the preferred
method of acquisition for your Bentley, and Bentley
Financial Services provides a range of methods dependant on
whether you are looking to own your Bentley at the end of
the agreement.
The choice between ownership and leasing is a purely
personal one, but the joy of driving is the same. Bentley
Financial Services is here to help you make that choice. |
Hire Purchase
‘The simple, uncomplicated finance package for a new pre-owned
Bentley.’
Bentley Financial Services offer Hire Purchase as the most widely
used and understood method of vehicle funding in the country.
After paying an agreed deposit, you pay the balance as monthly
payments (with interest) over an agreed period of usually between 12
and 48 months. When the payment period has been completed and all
payments made (including the option to purchase fee), the Bentley
becomes your property to continue to enjoy driving or to part
exchange for a new Bentley.
Lease Purchase
‘The cost effective, tax efficient finance package most customers
choose.’
This is the most conventional business choice offering the
simplicity of Hire Purchase but with a greater degree of
flexibility. The fundamental principle of Lease Purchase is to defer
a major portion of the repayment to the end of the agreement. This
amount is mutually agreed at the commencement of the contract when a
deposit is paid. The contract period is normally between two and
three years. Lease Purchase is often found to be most suitable for
the budgeting and tax requirements of some companies. Writing down
allowances can also be claimed on the vehicle.
At the end of the contract the final payment is made and the Bentley
becomes the property of your business to use or part exchange for
another Bentley.
Finance Lease
‘Flexible financing, with significant tax benefits and improved cash
flow.’ A Bentley Financial Services Finance Lease is a flexible and
tax efficient option for many businesses.
After choosing the Bentley to meet your business and personal needs
you simply select a leasing period of between one and four years.
The deposit is usually an amount equal to three or six monthly
rentals. You then have the choice of a ‘Full Payout’, which spreads
the cost of the lease equally over the term for ease of budgeting or
a ‘Balloon Payment’ that offsets a major part of the cost to the end
of the period.
The Balloon Payment has the effect of reducing payments and keeps
capital in your business until the end of the period. You may also
be able to recover VAT charged on the lease if you are VAT
registered – up to 100% recovery if you use your Bentley wholly for
business purposes and up to 50% recovery if there is any private
use. For accounting purposes your Bentley will be shown as a company
asset.
The Exchequer also allows Bentley Financial Services to recover the
VAT on the cost of the vehicle, the benefit of which is passed on in
lower monthly payments.
At the end of the agreement when all terms have been met, you can
sell the Bentley on our behalf to a third party in which case a
percentage of the sale’s proceeds will be refunded. |
