A home theatre creates an exclusive domain within your living space,
where the reality of your surroundings is suspended and you're
immersed in a total entertainment experience. Imagine enjoying a
great football game or film in the intimate surroundings of friends
and family with cinema-quality projection and sound.

Picture the scene. You return home from a stressful day's
work, sit down in your favourite armchair with a glass of something
cold.
With the press of a button, the lights dim, blinds cover the
windows, a giant plasma television screen descends from the ceiling
and your favourite DVD whirs into life.
It may sound like
something straight out of a James Bond film, but such modern luxury
is a reality for an increasing number of people thanks to companies
like i.life solutions.
The company, which was started as CCOMM by owner Mike Entwistle, was
originally intended to provide integrated technology solutions for
corporate clients. After success in the boardrooms of major firms
such as KPMG and Cable and Wireless, company directors began to ask
if the same technology could be applied to their own homes.
These clients wanted to enjoy the home cinema experience, with some
hi-tech added extras, but without the complicated controls and mass
of wiring. The rest, as they say, is history. The firm, based in St
Albans, now provides top-level home theatre and other technologies
to a variety of exacting customers including a number of sports
stars and celebrities. “We have seen phenomenal success in the past
year. It is a huge growth market," said Marketing Manager Paul
Taylor. "Everyone wants a home cinema and we can make it happen."
